We are very proud of the Young Ambassadors who worked very hard together to write their original spoken word pieces and produce a short play that expressed how young people feel about the closure of Youth Services in West London. It was very inspiring to see the Young Ambassador's commitment & creativity to make a positive social change with their voices. More details to come about the second training session that focused on the young people creating their first social action campaign! 😀📝💫

In the last few weeks we have been working with our partner (Young Westminster Foundation) to deliver a two-part training session. The first training session was on our first spoken word workshop for a group of Young Ambassadors (aged 16-25 years)! The workshop was led by the multi-talented artists: Aisling Fahey & Raggo Zulu Rebel, who supported the young people to explore and bringing it to life our partner’s Needs Analysis Report (on the experiences of children and young people growing up in Westminster). We had a blast working with the young people…more photos and stories to come! 😀📝💫

Over the weekend we were very impressed by the creativity and talent of the young people from our project with GLA, called ROOTS LDN. They have written and produced original music, spoken word and poems to represent the diverse rich history and experiences of BAME communities in London. A massive thank you goes to Asabi Hawah who laid down one of our favourite hooks on a track. ROOTS LDN Album coming out soon!😀 #ROOTSLDN ... See MoreSee Less
